T / T2

Product Overview

T Type is constructed from alternating layers of conductive and insulating silicone rubber.

T and T2 Type connectors use one or more conductive layers to contact the electrode surfaces of a PCB or LCD.

※ T2 Type has a white insulating coating on both sides.

Typical Applications

  • Digital Watches
  • Thermometers
  • Industrial Instruments
  • Electronic Clocks
  • Automotive Electronics
  • LCD Modules

Design Information

Compression Load Formula

F = 6.2 × D × W × L (g)

  • F = Force (g)
  • D = Deformation (%)
  • W = Connector width (mm)
  • L = Connector length (mm)

Contact Resistance Formula

R = 100 × H W′ × S (Ω)
  • R = Contact resistance (Ω)
  • H = Connector height (mm)
  • W′ = Conductive Layer Width
  • S = Electrode Width (mm)

Design Guidelines

  • Length = LCD glass length − 0.5 mm
  • Height = Distance from the PCB to the LCD contact surface × 1.07–1.10
  • Width = LCD contact-edge width × 0.90–0.95

For special material properties, dimensional tolerances, or contact resistance requirements, please specify the requirements to our sales team before ordering.
